Teacher Activities
Engage in a group collaborative activity to develop and apply the skills necessary to create state-of-the-art multimedia products (eg, web videos, podcasts) regarding an aspect of the CyberCity topic of their choosing. Prizes will be awarded for the best videos.
Learn about the JMU NETS*T certification program and have an opportunity to join a Virtual Community of Practice (VCOP) of their peers to work toward their own certification.
Learn about the Partnership for 21st Century Skills and how to begin discussions of these skills in their own schools using the School Leader Development resource provided by Microsoft Corporation.
At the teacher's discretion, the media products created may be uploaded to a web server to be accessed by students and teachers in the teachers' home schools.
