Goals
- To educate students (9th and 10th graders) and teachers about computer technology. Our hope is to stimulate student interest and provide teachers with tools to encourage students to consider computer related careers.
- To provide students with a taste of college life with the hope that they will want to pursue a college degree.
- To introduce students and teachers to JMU. We offer a beautiful campus community, a great academic reputation, dedicated teachers and great support services such as our Centennial Scholars Program.
- To create a diverse university community.
- To use a set of hands-on experiences to let students know that they do have the skills and knowledge to succeed in college and specifically at JMU.
