I am interested in attending CyberCity. Who should I contact?
CyberCity is by invitation only. If you think you qualify, contact us at (540) 568 - 3015 or CyberCity@jmu.edu.
We do not have a high school teacher that can attend CyberCity, what do we do?
Ask a middle school teacher to accompany your high school students.
Can we FAX our forms?
Yes, the fax number is 540-568-3017.
Are there motivators to get teachers to attend?
Yes, teachers are eligible for CEUs in addition to learning valuable new content.
How much does CyberCity cost?
CyberCity is free to the invited participants. JMU's College of Business is the primary sponsor along with the members of the Dean's Executive Advisory Council.
What should I bring to CyberCity?
James Madison University is situated in Shenandoah Valley, surrounded by mountains and hills. Because of the university's location, it is strongly advised that you wear comfortable summer clothing and shoes appropriate for walking during the summer months. Also, don't forget personal toilet articles such as towels, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Students and teachers are also advised to bring money to purchase food or drinks from campus vending machines and for the visit to the Campus Bookstore. Finally, it is strongly advised that you bring an alarm clock so that you may wake up and be on time to all activity sessions.
